Bedroom makeover part 1

 (Look what I made!)

So I've been wanting to add more color to our master bedroom for quite awhile.  This is pretty much the last room to get any attention because only Josh and I see it.  But it is quite blah...  We have lots of pale, neutral colors and I'm sick of it.  When I saw this 15 minute canvas tutorial I knew this would be a great start to prettying up our bedroom!  I do have to say it took me a lot longer than 15 minutes.  However, I am new to crafting and being creative.  And I'm a little bit of a perfectionist apparently.  I'm sure lots of you could do it in about 15 minutes though.  Here is the before of the dresser area.

And after, with my pretty canvas art!

I am seriously in love with the red/aqua color combination!  It's so bright and pretty.  It was really quite simple to make.  And cheap! I already had the scrapbook paper, mod podge, paint, and the canvases I got 50% off.  Total cost for this project was less than $10!  Now I just need something creative to do with all my jewelry.  I'm not fond of it all haphazardly thrown on the dresser... any good ideas?
