V-day Decor

I've never decorated for Valentine's Day before.  I've seen so many cute things to do and make that I couldn't resist doing a little!  Here are a few shots of the spaces in my house that I gave some V-day love.

Living room

Bookcases
I made the XOXO frames from this tutorial.
And I can't remember where I got that "Keep Calm and Love On" printable...

Here's a close up of the XOXO frames.
 The other bookcase
All this one has is that Be Mine block on the top shelf.

 Here it's close up.
This was quick and easy to make!  And I really like it.
I used a leftover piece of wood from another project, sanded and painted it.  Picked out some cute scrapbook paper, printed "Be Mine" on it, and distressed the edges a bit.  Simple!

I got out this pink pillow that I never know what to do with and put it on my living room chair.

 Kitchen/Dining Room

Counter
Remember these candy dishes?  I originally made them for Halloween, but the quickly realized they could be changed out easily to fit any season.  I just change the ribbon and candy!  Well, the candy gets eaten actually... and then I get more :)  I also got those glitter hearts in the bowl from the dollar spot at Target.

Bakers Rack
I put red scrapbook paper in the picture frame for February.  I'm going to change that out monthly.  And I got that cute little heart bowl from my MIL {mother in law} and the yummy candy too!
 {Yep, the Simplify board ended up here!  One smart gal had the idea of moving it around, and I think I'll do that, but for now it's starting out here.}

 Dining room table
I filled a vase with candy conversation hearts.  I forgot how much Josh likes them though, so they're going fast!  This was another very inexpensive decoration because I bought the candy and that was it.

 Sewing Table
I added the two frames on the left.  The bigger one I got here. {they always have the cutest printables} and I don't remember about the second.  {sorry! I just save, print, and move on, I don't bookmark them once I've saved them} I added some fabric rosettes to the smaller frame from some scraps and an old shirt I never wear.

I have a huge list of things I want to make but this is it so far.  I'll have plenty to add the coming years!

Do you decorate for Valentine's Day?
