I'm 14 weeks pregnant today and in my 2nd trimester, yay! I'm still feeling nauseous but hopeful it won't last too much longer. A lot of people have been asking me for belly pictures so here's the first one I'll post. Josh and I have actually been taking weekly pics since week 4 (when we found out) for a pregnancy journal I have. I'm not going to post them all because they ALL look pretty much the same. I was just at the doctor last week and I haven't gained any weight yet. I lost weight at first and I'm still not back at my pre-pregnancy weight. So you BETTER NOT tell me I have a belly! Cause I don't!!! Not that I'm not excited to have one, I am way excited to finally start showing. I just don't yet. My doctor said by my next visit, which is in 3 weeks, that I'd be showing by then. I guess we'll see! So anyways, here's the first shot (which Josh just took of me a few minutes ago).

Our Little One
Josh and I are expecting our first baby!!! We are so excited and can't wait to be parents to our little one. I'm currently 12 weeks along, about 2 and half months, and due on August 26. Our baby is the size of a lime right now. This ultrasound picture is from when I was 8 weeks pregnant.
For those of you who want to know all the gory details, continue reading! I have been feeling pretty sick since around the 6th week. I usually don't actually get sick but I just feel nauseous everyday. Although I do throw up about once every week or two. My first time actually getting sick was on an airplane and that was NOT fun. We had to take 2 planes to get back home after Christmas break. Both times as the plane was descending to land I threw up in the handy barf bags. The first flight a lot of it got on me and it was disgusting. Luckily Josh gave me his sweatshirt to wear and I could get rid of the yucky one. When I feel the nausea coming I eat a snack and usually feel better, so that's good. Josh has bee SO wonderful! Since I feel pretty bad after waking up in the morning (because my stomach has been empty for so long) Josh will get up first, go downstairs to get me a bowl of cereal, and then bring it up to me so I can eat it in bed without having to get up. That helps a TON and since he started doing that I don't feel bad most mornings. Also whenever we're home and I don't feel well, he just lets me lie down and rest. He'll make dinner, do the chores, get me a snack, or whatever it is that needs to be done. I'm SOOO very grateful to him and how wonderful he's been to me through all of it. I really hope that I only feel sick my first trimester. I don't if I could do this for 9 months. Jennilyn, you're a star! I'm so impressed with how you handled everything throughout your pregnancy, seemed so on top of things, and managed being sick the whole time. I hope I'm not as "lucky" as you though! ;)
