3 Years with My Eternal Sweetheart

Today, June 7th, is Josh and my 3rd anniversary!  

Woo-hoo people- 3 whoppin' years!

We were married on 06-07-08.  Pretty sweet date, huh?  And we didn't even plan it that day on purpose.  We had limited dates to choose from, and that was the one that worked.  My roommate later pointed out to me that it was 6-7-8. Turns out a few other bloggers I know have the exact same anniversary!  Melanie of Reasons to Skip the Housework, Maggie of Gussy Sews, and Kate of See Kate Blog are also celebrating their 3rd anniversaries today as well.  Happy anniversary to you guys too!

I'm so grateful that I was married to this handsome guy 3 years ago in the Orlando Florida Temple.

He is the best, most amazing man in the world.  Which makes me the luckiest girl in the world!  I don't know exactly what I did to make him fall in love with me, but I'm so glad he did.  He so kind, patient, does not get upset easily {unlike me}, sweet, and gives the best cuddles ever.  Which is great since I LOVE cuddling, like all. the. time.  Whenever possible.  I'm definitely a touch gal of the 5 love languages.

I love you honey bunch!  I'm so happy we have had these 3 wonderful years together.  And that we still have many more in the future.  Thanks for the being the best.  I love you infinity!

100 Wowerzs!!!

So other than my little sissy who may or may not have been bugging me about this, I don't know if anyone noticed....

But I reached 100 followers a few weeks ago!!!

I was in a little blogging funk then, so I'm just now getting around to posting about it.  I mentioned awhile back about wanting to do  giveaway when I got to 100 and I do!  But I'm having a hard time coming up with something.  I want it to be something you guys want.  So help me out please!  Vote in the poll on the right sidebar or give me an idea in the comments if you think of something else.

{Beach} Countdown Frame

So this is one of those projects that I start but then don't have everything for it.  So I have great intentions of getting the that one thing {it was the mini clothespins} right away.  But I forget.  And it sits there.  For months!

But I finally finished it, yay!  

It's my countdown frame.  I got the idea here.

She did a brithday countdown, but you can really make it whatever you want.  Just change the little label and voila!

I am currently using it to countdown the days until our California vacation.  We will be spending a week at a beach house for the first part of it.  I seriously can. not. WAIT.  Fun, sun, relaxing, not being so pasty white... it's gonna be great! 

Aren't my little countdown cards cute?!  They are from Pretty Little Studio and totally affordable.  I love the vintage inspired look.

This was a super fast and easy project.  You can probably tell exactly how to do it by looking at the pictures, but if you want more details on that go here.

I'm really happy with how it turned out.  And the possibilities are endless for different countdowns!  I have a couple more sets of cards from the same place for a Valentines countdown and Christmas countdown too.  Although, I'll need a new frame that's more Christmasy for that one.

By the way, we're now on 19 days until our summer vacation!  Which also means the hubs will be down with his board exams {medical school} and I will actually be able to spend time with him.  Instead of now where we just see each other in passing for a few minutes here and there.  It's so lame.  I hate it.  Our 3rd anniversary is coming up in a few days but we're not even doing anything until next month when he's done studying and we're back from California. Double lame.  

Ok, I'm down being a a downer.  I really am excited that he's almost done and we'll be in California soon!
