Being Crafty

I love scrapbooking and crafts. I wish I was more crafty and creative like some people I know (Karianne S. and Emily S.- you guys are amazing!), but I try. I thought I would share a project that I just completed and am really happy with the results. It’s my own unique piece of art that was a lot cheaper that buying something that size!

I was going to do it all on my own, but Josh helped with a lot of it, especially the frame! It was kinda hard to nail it all together.

Then I ironed the fabric, staple gunned it to the frame, and ta-da! Not too hard. We did it in one night. ☺

I’m not sure where to put it yet… maybe the baby’s room if it’s a girl. Josh thinks it could be for a boy too, but I’m skeptical. What do you think??? By the way, I’m 19 weeks today and we find out in exactly one week whether we’re having a boy or a girl. I can’t wait!

Good job! I think besides the butterfly in the middle it could be for a boy too. Can't wait to find out what you are having! I'm guessing a girl.

Oh awesome!! I saw an art piece like this yesterday in someones home and I loved it! I like the fabric you chose!! I think it could go for a boy too..unless you want bedding that is totally different of course. You'll think of something! I think it's a girl tho, but boys are fun!!

Oh my gosh I love this. I have seen people do three of them too with differenet fabrics that match in some way and then hang them together, just another crafty idea. Can't wait for next week.
