Bedroom makeover part 1

 (Look what I made!)

So I've been wanting to add more color to our master bedroom for quite awhile.  This is pretty much the last room to get any attention because only Josh and I see it.  But it is quite blah...  We have lots of pale, neutral colors and I'm sick of it.  When I saw this 15 minute canvas tutorial I knew this would be a great start to prettying up our bedroom!  I do have to say it took me a lot longer than 15 minutes.  However, I am new to crafting and being creative.  And I'm a little bit of a perfectionist apparently.  I'm sure lots of you could do it in about 15 minutes though.  Here is the before of the dresser area.

And after, with my pretty canvas art!

I am seriously in love with the red/aqua color combination!  It's so bright and pretty.  It was really quite simple to make.  And cheap! I already had the scrapbook paper, mod podge, paint, and the canvases I got 50% off.  Total cost for this project was less than $10!  Now I just need something creative to do with all my jewelry.  I'm not fond of it all haphazardly thrown on the dresser... any good ideas?

Jenna! You're SO creative! You know I'm a nut for color and those prints look awesome! Good job!

I love the new blog look too, btw! You've been busy!

I've always loved this idea for earring storage, (http://www.kevinandamanda.com/whatsnew/our-home/tutorial-shabby-chic-dangly-earring-display.html)

and found a similar idea for necklaces too

Oh, and I've always thought this was super cute too
